have you driven a car with ABS before ?, if not the first time you feel it ,it can be a bit wierd - & it feels a bit worse on my disco than it used to on my old vectra - if it doesn't do it under normal road braking, it's just the abs - nothing to worry about

yep - I've heard that about the wranglers as well - same ones on mine - but seeing as I haven't driven a td5 with 16" wheels I can't really compare it.
