    good on yer -sounds a good one - air supsension is the most common/expensive problem, so if that's been done recently you''ve got no worries - welcome to the joy/hell* of landrover ownership * delete as applicable after first few months of ownership;)

    right manged to find the right guide pin bolts - STC 1914 (49p each) if I know i've got the right pads - I can order a set of bolts for the sake of a fiver plus postage -would have been cheaper & quicker to have gone to Halfords in first place :rolleyes:

    possibly the RF receiver - common fault with range rovers - is it left anywhere near CCTV cameras, mobile phone masts, Wi-Fi etc - RF interference causes the BECM to be constantly 'woken up' drawing power from the battery. Do a search for "rf receiver"

    just the normal 5 speed manual & hi/low range box I think the new disco 3's got that 'terrain response' thingy as well as high/low range
