Update; Seller quoted me £122.64 for a cam belt kit with water pump and £150 to fit it. I pushed for the whole lot for £200 and he agreed. My friend had now questioned whether they have cam belts?

Very interesting, thank you. One thing I will add is that when driving in a straight line with the steering wheel at centre, there did seem to be a bit of play which made no difference to the steering? (Video to follow later)

Two different miles on the two images of the clock, I see.....! Also, after deacceleration, there was a whine from in the engine bay, steering was loose and some bad rust under the wheel arch.....I guess you get what you pay for!!
