Hi all. On another thread I have detailed how I had a hit and run (albeit a slow one) an my beloved FL2 has today been deemed a write off. I am keep to get it back and possibly get it repaired (alternator belt went and wouldn't start but would turn over quick so possible timing issue if belt...

Mate I would love to keep my current one but the engine not starting following the snapped belt is a concern....and she's done 207,00 miles too 🤔

Hi all. Looks my brilliant FL2 may have given up the ghost....I want another one.....I assume that when I buy, it is advisable to get cam belt, water pump etc changed as well as a service......how much should this cost....ball park figure?

Thanks but alternator belt has now gone and she won’t start - I’ve posted another thread on it - possibly taken out the can belt too?

Hi all. FL was idling and then stopped. I turned her over, was turning over fine but wouldn't start. AA man found shredded alternator belt and pulled it out but he couldn't understand why it wouldn't start. He suggested that perhaps the belt had got entwined with the cam belt in some way and...

Update on this - still no decision from the Insurance but repairer said they're going to quote £2,200 (£400 labour, £400 paint etc, £800 part and rest VAT) o can't see how they'll think a 2009 FL2 with 207,000 miles on the clock will be economically viable?

Hi all. Wife drove FL back 2 hours ago, turned engine off and the fan stayed on and is still on? Temp gauge is midway, as it always is and there is coolant in the reservoir although we have been getting the 'low level' for a few days (I know, I know) Video here;

Hi all. When we unlock our FL2, all the doors unlock apart from passenger side rear. To unlock it, we have to press the key fob again (sometimes twice). Whilst not terrible, it is annoying....please can I ask for some help?
