indeed.. I don't think customer satisfaction is his bag though to be honest. shame he's been so short sighted, had he have gone the extra mile and done what was asked of him he would have got repeat work off of myself and I would have also recommended him to all of my family and friends...

well I can't imagine for an 'experienced welder the job would have taken any longer than 5 days going full time - say 5 days max doing 6/7 hours a day thats 35/40 hours tops - divided by 950 works out at minimum just over £23 an hour he didn't even bother moving rear wheel arch carpets like...

Unfortunately I did, my mother handed him the money and family were there at the time when he dropped the vehicle off.. I also have a draw out slip for an hour or so before he came to pick the vehicle up for most of the funds.

I am having to go through all of my emails to try and find the ones sent, I do believe there was mention of the work I wanted done!

Unfortunately not he seemed so nice, polite etc seemed to be a bit of a landy fan himself said how it was a good idea to get it all done etc it was just left as a verbal contract I guess you would say, I did send emails of what the foot wells etc were like prior to the work being carried out but...

I do not believe he is a limited company - Google him though and lots of things come up regarding sites he has posted his details on for work, including yellow pages.

Sorry not ignoring the advice.. I used to work for the police they are USELESS they would only class it as a civil matter unless he makes a direct threat etc.. I will have to go to trading standards and go small claims court root.

I couldn't leave as he bought the vehicle to my house, I wouldn't have paid him however I live with my parents at the moment and they did not want any come back so got the money together and gave it to him as they were worried if I did not pay he would come back and damage property/vehicles etc
