Hey James, do you know if the 200 chassis will fit a 300? Engine mounts I know. I think the anti roll bar mounts Will a 300 gearbox Crossmember fit a 200 chassis? Will a 300 fuel tank fit a 200 rear cross member? Anything else? Cheers mate... How are you anyway?

I know the engine mounts will need to be changed with new ones welded in, but do you or anyone else know if the 300tdi gearbox cross member will just bolt in to a 200 chassis? Also, is the rear Crossmember the same with regards the fuel tank for a 300?

Wow, that is a distance. I did drive up to James Martin in Lincolnshire Where I helped him do my gearbox. What you after for it and what sort of condition is it in? Not that, that is an easy question to answer.

I have two from some old disco doors. Of they were straight thru would be about 34cm long. Could you use them? They have a threaded bit one end.

Is not quite so black and white as that. If I was to repair my chassis (which I thought I could till this morning) it would have cost me 600 maybe with the chassis panels and paint. And being done over a period time I could budget little bits every so often. However I just can't afford 3k in 1...

I can assure you that the safety is more important than the crappy ****e stuff as you put it... Lol I actually thought it was in better condition that that until I got under it this morning. I just can't afford a shiny new Richards one but wish I could. I need to sort something though otherwise...

Would these guys be able to help. Failing that find a a scrappy disco and salvage a long one and bend it to the shape you desire How long does it need to be?

Are the tdci/puma chassis any good and apart from the engine mounts and rear Crossmember is there anything else that would have to be modified on one for a 300tdi csw 110

So I got under it this morning and it isn't looking good. I'll put some photos on but there are holes around thee of the radius arm mounts and rust all over which is coming off quite thick with paint. I think it's seen its day.... I am pretty good with a welder so does anyone think its fixable?

I've been holding out for a new chassis for 7 years, that's the main reason it's not been done. I just don't have 3.5k for a new galv one and if I ain't in 7 years I don't think it's going to happen so I'm just going to have to fix this one. I don't really want to lose my HD Crossmember anyway...
