Replaced the break light switch again. Bl@@dy nightmare, tackled this job a few weeks ago and found I had a faulty new switch, put the old one back in and seemed to work fine until last weekend when two of the amigos started showing again.

Yep, replaced the oil in my 06 freelander with 60000K a few weeks ago with the same problem. Just make sure you can undo the fill/level plug before you drain the oil out. It's like a new gearbox now with easy gear selection.

Well tried cleaning the sensor plug and contacts also cleaned the plug and contacts on top of the injectors, but it still starts the same first thing. Looks like it going to be the glow plugs. Just for a couple of seconds the engine sounds like it's firing on three cylinders then bursts into...

Not sure if this is the part number you want. Solenoid 2-4 brake duty THT500040 Do a check on it first it could be the wrong thing altogether

Happy to say I seem to have cured my leaking boot. what I did was to clean the rubber seal and where the seal meets around the door with silicon spray. I also moved the door catch receiver in about 3mm to get a better seal. Of cause it depends on where the water is getting in but as suggested...

Cleaned the sensor plug and contacts on the end of the fuel rail also cleaned the plugs and contacts on top of the injectors while i was at it.

If they don't seize how do they fail ???

With VCU and props removed = mondo mode = FWD only With VCU and props in place = but no drive to rear wheels = Fecked VCU I think lol :behindsofa:

I thought "mondo" was when you remove the VCU and props to just have front wheel drive ???
