I have a Defender 300tdi- 130, I have a squeaky belt, turned out to be the steering pump on the way out..then it went!! Apparently the bearing in the tensioner is prone to wearing too. I replaced the beaing- job done.

I'm doing a 130 camper-converison. Is good fun. Im 6'3" and have found that by sleeping corner-to-corner, i fit just just great. Luckily the missis is only 5'6"!

Just had a sneeky feel (sounds wrong!) of the propshafts. UJ's seem ok, although there does seem excessive movement of the front shaft. Thinking about it, I did deflate the front tyres to 28psi for an easier ride, i wonder if this has caused it?

My old girl, 'Tusky' is a an S1. Celebrated her 56th bday the other week- gave her an oil change!! I haven't modded her at all. I guess only mod is 750's which i got haven't got round to 'degrading' to originals. Sand, mud, green-lanes...happy days. She's been a great asset for taking family...
