Strata Florida track in my tratter

Fair assumption, I am fairly competent off road and the front tyres are legal but not as chunky as they once were! Mechanically the vehicle is looked after by a local Landrover specialist I’ve never had a problem with it breaking down. We are staying very close to the strata Florida route so...

Strata Florida track in my tratter

Hi Guys - I’m thinking of going down the strata Florida track in mid wales just looking for some input. I’m going up to the area next week and thinking of taking the 90 - it’s an old defender 200tdi bog standard, Michelin army type tyres on with not great tread! Anyway thought I would have a...

    What are these wheels?

Was down at the landy garage in Chalford near stroud - the wheels looked quite dished, mine are quite narrow looking,( think mine are disco steels) so if I want to buy some where is the best place to get them?

What’s best for removing rust from chassis

How many would I need to do the chassis? Would one be enough? QUOTE="lynall, post: 5006270, member: 62401"]I find flap discs tend to polish the rust, an angle grinder with one of them wicked wire bush attachments is bloody good, decent gloves and face covering essential. Bottom left and top...

    All wheel trim tonneau cover

I ordered a tonneau cover for my 90 from all wheel trim which arrived the other day, spent a couple hours fitting it on and I have to say I am really pleased with the fit and finish. I had to fix on additional hooks etc as they were not on the body but everything I needed was supplied by them -...

What’s best for removing rust from chassis

It’s a 31 years old 90 - there is a bit of welding needed on the floor and front outrigger which I will get done first - but it’s pretty solid overall, has had a new rear chassis end bit at some point. I have been leaving it up till now but I want to spend some time making it look a bit nicer...

can I use a rear door spare wheel carrier on my bonnet??

Spent a couple of hours fitting the wheel carrier this evening, I think it looks right! The wheel sits neatly on the rubber bung things and it seems sturdy enough. I expected it to sit directly on the bonnet for some reason. Anyway I’m pretty pleased and thanks for the advice guys, as I was...
