    Also it's worth noting that you can get into the immobiliser settings on a Hawkeye diagnostic tool to 'remobilise' when unlocking with the key.... I had it last year while on holiday, I ended up getting it unlocked with the fob and didn't lock it again after that :D

    Can you move the pulley up and down? My last td5 the bearing was shot and I could move it up and down but it didn't make a noise....

    From what I remember it's a case of a few small philips screws and some clips and you can take it all apart....

    Oh I didn't look into the job at all, but seeing that now I realise I have some security bars over my headlights so thats why I took them bolts out :rolleyes:

    Eh, I'm confused a bit here.... It's not the two Philips screws you are trying to undo is it? Take the two torx head bolts out and then tug the unit as it has push in pins..... That's all I've done with mine and I've had them out a few times now and without removing the grill.... :)

    Classic case of injector seals.... real easy job and relatively cheap too but while you are in there you will want to change the injector loom too and also do an oil and filters change :)

    So three cold starts later and it's firing in less than 3 seconds and the power has changed, before it would get to 3k and stop pulling as hard yet today it got round to 4k before I realised what it was doing..... I don't remember if I've ran it so low since I've had it, as it's a lot better on...

    Well the inevitable happened this morning.... I had quarter tank of fuel but I thought I'd put some in anyway, half a mile ish is started misfiring but it kept going but right as I pulled up at the pump it cut out on me :rolleyes: filled up, did a full prime sequence but would it buggery...
