    Fitting new front fog lights.

hahahaha - yeah people who have them on during the day should be stopped by the police and made to put their genitals on the hopefully hot lamps... sadly some may like that... Fog lamps make a huge difference on lower down cars, as they are low and you do not get the reflection - which is my...

    Fitting new front fog lights.

If you get one of these DRL light bumpers, https://www.powerfuluk.com/land-rover-defender-front-bumper-led-drl-square-type.html which come with a wiring harness to plug into side light feed- could you wire it into the rear fog lamp feed instead of side light feed? I see lot’s of people...

    iveco masif engine

its a clone like Santana was in Spain, only a little uglier and based on series 3 underpinnings; apart from the 174bhp 3.0 diesel which as you say should pull it well. they seem to have cloned all sorts of versions: have seen station wagons as well

Have heard a lot about the Brazilian 2.8 engine, but there is an iveco masif 3.0 with up to 174bhp in standard form; in a licensed iveco masif https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iveco_Massif

    Bolts Missing (various)

while the 110 300tdi was on the ramp and in the shop I noticed 3 bolts - 1 def missing, 2 apparently not according to mechanic but wanted to double check 1) turbo to manifold (no pic, but googled a few times and cannot see a reference to what thread / size so I can order one. The three I have...

Really leaky rear end - pic any ideas?

yep lol. She’s going on a long trip soon so will see, it seems to stop at some point after stopping tho which is weird? took another pic, the smaller puddle is tge new fresh one after a short journey and can see where the dripping is coming from at front edge of tank carrier / protector

Really leaky rear end - pic any ideas?

I have noticed quite a big patch of what I have not checked yet if it's oil or diesel, but looks thicker than diesel... I should have taken a pic of leak, there are drip marks on what looks like a petrol tank cover behind (?) rear axle 300tdi CSW. Will get more pics tomorrow. I have had a knock...

Better HVAC (Aircon and Heating) install options

Yep, that is also part of idea, that you can get HVAC models, which should fit in the space for the heater I linked to from mud stuff, so you basically reverse the flow and it works as a heater as well as aircon. Both needed in a landy lol

Better HVAC (Aircon and Heating) install options

I usually ask my monther-in-law to get out in the former situation and both the power/ hill and the hot air situation fixed in one :) :)

Better HVAC (Aircon and Heating) install options

yep: This is another reason for looking at a separate system, as feedback from the retrofits I have read (so much be universally true!) is that defender aircon is either icy or boiling; those are the two AC settings! Which Is not great for £2k+ and suggest the compressor is re drawing too much...

Better HVAC (Aircon and Heating) install options

Yep, I am erring that way at the moment, especially as the condensation could be channeled onto whatever gets so hot on long trips down there and cool it a bit :)

Better HVAC (Aircon and Heating) install options

I have been wanting to add aircon to my 110 300tdi CSW, every time I look under the bonnet I see the spare gap for the compressor, however I then have two issues with the usual aircon retrifit 1) They are expensive 2) They don't work; freeze front passengers legs only, rest of front...
