Cubby box with tracker and door sensors

Thanks Wimblowdriver, all comments welcome, the top and box in video are both from factory / 3rd party cubby boxes we have modified actually, and them looking a bit cheap was one of the reasons we thought about making a better one! Cubby box with tracker and door sensors

    Mystery connectors under centre seat

did anyone find out what the 3 cables are for, apart from power? I shall plug in a diagnostics scanner this week, but would be good if it can be used with a raspberry pi based device with a CAN hat and 4G to be able to remotely turn alarm & immobiliser on/off, or at least see status...

Glueing Plastic clips to door glass

Am about to start this process as some scroat broke my window to steal the dashcam… is it obvious where the tabs need glueing, is there a diagram somewhere or do I need to take the other door card off on other side to see where the glue tabs go? I was going to use epoxy

Series 3 Petrol vs Diesel...what's the verdict?

yep, if I find a good one I want and it happens to be diesel it will still be “grab your coat you’ve pulled time” ;) (no diesel pulling harder pun intended)

Series 3 Petrol vs Diesel...what's the verdict?

They should all be ok for that from an over 40yo perspective, but I imagine they will have to have an original spec engine to qualify... and the debate is over for me as I have found there was a 2.6 in line 6 petrol!

Series 3 Petrol vs Diesel...what's the verdict?

    Short Circuit 300tdi

Thanks for all your help chaps, don’t know if its dried out or not (the previous night it rained hard and blew a hooley) but charged overnight to a worrying high of 14.6v, put the battery in with no arcs, started on the button so fingers crossed! it went down to 13.8v after first start and 13.9v...
