I have S3 doors on my 90 ..... these dont look right at all . Mines has the lift up handles but the lock barrel comes through a separate hole in the door. Could this door be designed for a different set of handles/locks ? But my passengers door top from SP didnt fit very well.... no matter...

Top drive is suggesting that he would fit a 200tdi But he would not **** about rebuilding it because it's a bit old. What I did was stick the engine in , throw a compression test on it and check the turbo condition. Then run it. And that was a bought off a pallet engine never seen it...

Not sure why you'd rebuild an engine that you know nothing about. But equally I'd not be paying someone to fit an engine that I had no history on. Equally I'd not be paying to have an old engine refurbed All of these things make no financial sense.

I didn't measure it. I did how ever give it all a wiggle and a prod .... Didn't feel loose in any direction tbh. Definitely oil in the pump though not dry

I got an MOT. Tester said brakes are far better than last year. He's talking pish they are ****ing horrendous. He also used the words "she's solid under neeth and everything works" New vac pump getting fitted tomorrow when it gets here.

Push rod adjustment sorted out the pedal feel. Brakes sharp as took. Vac still ****. Even changed hose for some snazzy green vac hose I had in the garage. Engine bay is horrid now. Bit bullet bought a vac pump. See what else it fails on mot tomorrow haha

brakes were **** hot. Prior to low vacuum being noted on my last mot - same tester for years. Then over this year i got pedal creep - the M/C seals had gone - but the bite point was still a good height. Only things that have changed are the Servo , the vac vanes/gaskets and the M/C seals. the...

Also the vac doesn't feel much different. I know I have vac from the pump now with only a 3hg difference between idle and rev. Does anyone know what it should be reading. ? The hose holds vac the one way valve holds and the new servo holds vac.
