    Chassis Supplier

I bought a richards chassis in feb, all seems pretty good. Just a engine mount needed tapping because of excess galv, but I think it was just missed by then as the other was fine. Body is not on yet, so can’t comment fully on alignment, but I think it won’t be far off. based my decision on the...

Hi all, wanting some recommendations for replacement front wings for TD5. Is there anyone who makes decided parts at reasonable prices? The LH wing needed front headlight and side panel - I know its possible to get a new head light panel but it appears to be spot welded across the front...

    Stiff rear axel

I think its the axel itself. I took it off to clean up and it was stiff then. I presumed the brakes had bound a little with it sitting. So took the callipers off completely. This did free it up a little but still really hard to rotate by hand. Just wondered if there was anything obvious to look...

    Stiff rear axel

Tbh can really say, drove fine, would say standing for around 2 months. Both wheels feel about the same to try and rotate by hand.

    Stiff rear axel

Just a quick one, any thoughts as to why the rear axel of a 90 td5 would be really stiff, it will roll but with high resistance. Any ideas would be great, before I have to strip it down!

    TD5 engine part numbers

Hi all, Can anyone help with a pdf for engine part numbers for Defender 90 TD5? I have used the part number pdf's from the top of the forum for body and axels etc, but they only cover up to the 300TDi. Just wondered if someone could point me in the right direction.

Galvanised chassis - to paint or not to paint

In the end I decided on chassis-clean, T-wash, etch primer and Frosts Extreme Satin Chassis Black. Whole underside will then be Waxoyled as per normal. I spoke with a well know paint supplier and their advice was to not paint it till it has naturally weathered... this was based on advice from...

    Rear tub panels repair

Just been out and quickly knocked them back with a wire cup - few photos. There a hole, but it looks like a puncture or torn spot weld. And a little corision on the bottom folded edge. The rest is just lightly pitted. In my search for this Landy I saw quiet a few of this age with similar...
