    Disco key fob question

About the only easy check I can think of (as yours is probably just on the brink of being two button...) check in the engine bay for the siren, if it has a black 'aftermarket looking' siren bolted to the inner wing, it'll be a 2 button. The old ones used the horn instead!

    fishsponge's ongoing thread of problems!

Looking at the state of your calipers, I wouldn't be too surprised to see the pistons in a grotty state to match the outside. It could be that the pistons are slow to travel due to the extra friction so after he pushed them back the right caliper wasn't doing much until you pushed a tad harder...

No.4 - make up a solution of liquid clothes detergent and warm water then sponge down the headlining, seats and boot carpets (don't soak them just dampen them a bit - will also shift dirt and stains) then you can use the same solution on the plastic trims, rubber mats and other bits with a...

tell us a bit more about the car... year and gearbox type may help here! In the mean-time though checking fuel filter, lift pump and sedimentor would be a good place to start. Unless you come back and say it's an auto with EDC! :o

Err.. no FFS it's not changed in a million years - a green lane is a ROAD - always has been, always will be. You need Licence, Tax, MOT & Insurance & if I ever catch you on a lane around here without any of the above I will have no qualms about torching you and your motor!
