Bottom Door Seals front doors 90

I have bottom door seals that I want to fit to my new front doors. My vehicle is a 93 200Tdi, but my new dorrs are the newer Pumer type. I have seals that where bought (by previous owner) for the original doors. Offering them up they line up with the pre drilled holes in the bottom of the door...

Going round in circles in Rimmers

I'm looking for the little screws that hold the window trim in place, so I can get on with assembeling my new doors. Ordered some loose screws from ebay, turned out to have the wrong heads (really crap photo is my excuse) Ordered some more loose (with a better photo) got the wrong size, way too...

    Anti Drone Pads

Thanks Guys. The Flashband although I think it's too thin, did point me in the right direction. I found butil based pads for insulating and sound deadening campers. Ordered a few sheets of that. Should work nicely. Val.

They are the bitumastic sheets similar to thouse found on the underside of your common stainless steel kitchen sink. Nothing comming up when I do a search on this forum or ebay. Anyone know...

    Polly Bushes and Adjustable shocks

My 93 200Tdi has been rebuilt with polly bushes (I'm told they are a softer type of polly, don't remember what they are called) and standard weight springs with a small lift, along with Oldman Emu shocks. The ride is harsh and jaring. So If I fit adjustable shocks. Will this soften things up...

Just a though re fuel tank location

Bit supprised some are worried about rear end collisions, when the 110s and the moderen 90 TD5 on all have the rear tank. If this was a real concern then a side impact to the older 90s would surly have the same effect. I was just wondering if it was possible to do this as I've seen the 110s and...

Just a though re fuel tank location

I have a 93 200Tdi 90. The fuel tank is under the drivers seat (partly anyway). I've noticed that the 110s have the fuel tank at the back. This is also the case for the TD5 and Puma cars. Being that the rear section of the chassis is likely to be similar on both the 90 and 110s, Is it possible...

What’s your personal experience with LED’s

I bought my 200Tdi with LEDs fitted already. They look good on the car and are much more visible to others. However every so often the indicators flash outside but the dash light doen't. Following behind the LD one day (I do let the wife have a go now and then) I saw that both rear indicators...

    Rear Door Hinges

Yep, That would probably solve the problem. Sadly my hinges dont have a slot for the tab. My thoughts are: 1, Somehow try to peen the end of the thread to stop the nut falling off. Though this won't stop it undoing most of the way. 2, Thread lock. 3, Second nut to lock against the first. 4...

    Rear Door Hinges

Would need to be a very thin nut. Have looked at using two nuts and locking them together. Very little extra thread to work with though. Yes thread running through the nylon. However the bottom hinge pin does not sit in a deep recess like the other two pins, so the pin doesn't stick put the...
