We could easily configure the tracking device to include that. So you would have sensors on the doors, a motion detecter inside the vehicle and activate th whole lot by a button on your keyring. A second button would activate an ignition isolator, as would a phone call or command from the web...

Hardly... If you have read through the pages then you will know that every so often the subject wanders and becomes not "how do we slow them down", but "How do we stop them?"... since people drop in and out of the conversation and many are not as diligent as they might be... it serves a purpose...

It honestly does not matter what you do... if they want your motor badly enough then they are going to get it. The only thing we can try to do is slow them down to the point that it becomes more trouble than it is worth for them to take the vehicle.

Except that there is nothing, so far, that stops it from being a daily driver... there are issues that I am happy to sort out... I can't manage to spend loads of money on it... but we can do things bit by bit and do them as well as possible.:D Besides.... I have gone without a daily driver...
