    Lower swivel pin leak

Yes 100%. Everything else is dry as a bone. Only wet from where the pin meets the swivel pin down. Do you suggest gasket, silicone or both?

    Front axle out of line

Just a thought, but are you sure its the axle out of line? Do the hockey sticks look like they're off to one side. Could it be something like miss matched (ie different on one side to the other), hubs, stub axle, discs swivels etc. I know the 300tdi on hubs were thinner/different, but not sure...

    Defender or Series tub seals??

About to fit van sides on my 1986 90 and I cant decide which seals to get for the sides to tub. I know the 90 catalogue says muc1333 which now supersedes, but reading on some other forums some people say earlier Series seals are much better. Are they still just a foam strip, or are they an...

    Nice bit of Snatch!

I think I'm just gonna keep both. Already have a strap, so ill just get a rope too

    Nice bit of Snatch!

To be honest the KERR that snapped was well used and I was quite deep in mud and water. And to be fair it was a brand new rope that then got me out. Might keep the starter as a tow strap once its lost its stretch and get a new kinetic rope. My chassis is an original pre td5 and if anything im...

    Nice bit of Snatch!

The main use for snatch recovery will be pay and play days. Nothing too severe but you're near MK so have probably been to Whaddon and devils pit, the mud can get thick sometimes. I don't use a kinetic rope as I've seen them snap and cause damage. I use a proper snatch strap (not tow strap)...

Its pretty good. It needed a couple of small repairs but most of it still has the paint on the inside. Had a good look inside
