    The spring goes from the backplate onto the stud on the shoe which keeps it tight onto the cam adjuster, Must be getting to the end of the rebuild hopefully if sorting brakes nice to see some pics of what you been up to 😀

    This is on eBay, I live 20 mile away from S&A and picked mine up, but you need GL4 not GL5 as that can be bad for the phosphor bronze bits in gearbox as you say
