Battery new, over 13v, checked EVERY fuse, swapped all the relays around assuming a dud will throw other problems, not so. Checked (by eye) all plugs/sockets, dis-connected battery, connected cables together to drain any residual voltage, operated all ign & other switches many times etc...

I ALMOST committed myself to cutting the front carpet to remove & gain access to the footwell damage, but realised that the very rearmost part would need cutting & that is seen under the centre console. So, I cut a piece of timber about 14" long & somehow managed to lift the heavy & stiff carpet...

Little update, rebuilt the compressor, then just fully rebuilt the valve-block as well, temporarily hooked up the electrics, fired her up, the compressor burst into life, & it must have taken a couple of minutes to press up the tank, then up she came, arse end first, then the front, i'll leave...

A bit stumped today, need to remove the front carpet to attend to the 'propshaft-hole' & sort the damaged adjacent heater duct on the tunnel, but even though the centre console is off, along with HEVAC, radio, air-sus panel etc. I just cant seem to get the carpet out!! There's a video on Youtube...

I'll not be looking at the modulation for some time yet since everything's stripped out inside, so, thought I'd have a looksee at the pollen-filters, bit of a job hauling them out, seemed to be 'stuck' , this is what came out of EACH side!! What sort of 'pollen' is that then.:oops:

Ah, OK, that might be a few weeks/months away yet, I've only had it running for 30 seconds or so, all the insides are removed at the moment!

OK, ill go for that, how does one 'reset the modulation' then??? Can a muppet like me do it at home, I do have the old original Rovacom.

I recently had 2 similar occurrences, 1, passenger door totally locked out, as yours, wound window down & managed to pry off the top, inner rubber molding from the top of the door card, this allowed me to 'look' down to check the cables, rods etc. ALL was perfect, but nothing unlocked...

Is the coolant sensor under the inlet, behind the pump then? If so how would it work, shorting the sensor closed, thus telling the ecu its cold?? If so again, is it a good 'fix' ??

Since all the dash/centre console is in a zillion bits, I thought id try & suss out the radio/speaker setup. ALL the previous hi-power amp/speakers/crossovers & tons of wiring are now completely removed & I am left with what I hope is the original wiring & plugs etc. Sourced original RR door...

I can confirm that the black 'gooey' stuff on the dash centre plastics are indeed painted, using paint-thinner, I managed to completely remove it all & have already re-sprayed a few bits satin black, they will look a whole bunch better than when I got it!! As you can see, mine are grey...
