Does anyone know what this parts called from the propshaft CV joint? I've got all the other bits just I accidentally pulled one of the wheels off and lost all the rollers. Any help would be great.

Thank you for your advice... I'll pick up my second hand ird tomorrow and get it reconditioned (Extra cost lol). Going to attempt to remove the old ird and front shafts tomorrow. There's just something about freelanders I absolutely love so in my personal opinion it's worth spending on...

Cut the drive shaft off with a angle grinder close to the wheel leaving the spline still in the wheel bearing but fully removed it from the diff... took the prop shaft off and lifted the motor up again. Span both front wheels and it clunked really bad even making the full engine wobble. Keeps...

When I bought the freelander it didn't have a prop shaft onit... I bought a refurbished one with new hanging bearings and new vcu so hopefully that's all still OK... I've sourced a second hand ird for £250 from a salvage company. One thing after another lol.

Not so good news today... took the drive shafts and the prop shaft off and it was still clunking.... turns out the clunking type sound is the IRD transfer box.... is it worth fixing or leaving as this parts £500 give or take new.

It's funny your saying this because when I bought the freelander it had a couple of parts in the boot, one of which is large bearing that looks similar... I thought it was a wheel bearing but all the wheels are fine so that kind of makes sense now. While the shaft is getting changed it makes...

Support bearing? Only thing I can find is carrier bearings for the prop shaft but they also new with the diff mounts 🤷‍♂️

Got a full new shaft arriving tomorrow... going to swap it out and retest with all 4 wheels up again. Landrover dealership wanted over £400 for a new rear driveshaft, local shops couldn't get hold of one even euro car parts. My only resort was £70 for a ebay one or pay over the odds.

Have you got a email address or something I can send you a couple of videos of it up close... you'll get a better understanding when you see the video.

I'm unsure to be honest, if you mean the end in the wheel hub or the end in the diff it's the end in the diff that's running off course.

I'm going to remove the shaft tomorrow and inspect... prices vary from £70 upto £150 for the rear nearside... is there a specific brand that's worth buying for quality purposes?

It's done 156K... All tyres are identical brand and pattern with around 6/7mm on each.
