    Range Rover Sport

I have looked at some 15 plate Landcruisers and the chassis’s don’t look like they have been treated well from the factory, I saw a lot of rust on them, ok mainly surface rust but you wouldn’t want to leave it like it.

    Range Rover Sport

I am looking for an everyday 4wd with some luxury, I love my Defender and not selling it, I looked at Landcruisers but they look like they are on the same level as my Defender. Has our Governments killed the 4wd market.

    Range Rover Sport

Looking for some buying advice on a 2015 3lt Diesel Range Rover sport, do they suffer with DPF problems and would that year have add Blue, there seems to be plenty around for sale, not sure if that’s good or bad. It would be good to hear from someone who is actually running one and what there...

    Sitting level

My 11A swb is sitting low on the back, about 2 inches different to the front, a previous owner had fitted 4 new leaf springs, I seem to remember if you fitted lwb shackles it would bring it up a bit, am I remembering correctly or do I need to change the rear springs. Thanks

    Defender road tax

I am getting confused with how much road tax would be for a Defender 90 van with no seats in the back, year 2014 2.2 Diesel engine, my last 13 plate one was £300 and something yet when I looked at a 14 plate one it’s saying £630, what’s right. Thanks Chris

    1970s British Army rifle

I like the wood stock ones, which I think someone said would be more in keeping with my 1970 Land Rover, price is an eye opener, I still think I am going to look for a wood stock one, they are £250 if the wife is looking.

    1970s British Army rifle

Yes I did see a wooden stock one, unfortunately it was sold. Deactivated are perfectly legal even here in the red tape UK so long as they have the new deactivation certificate with them.

    1970s British Army rifle

I have a 1970 series 11A swb, ex Army. What rifle would have been used from that time by our Soldiers, just wondering if I can buy a deactivated one, all so on the Heritage certificate it says it was at central Army vehicle depot , Hilton, Derbyshire, where it went from there I have no idea...

Clicking sound Discovery 3 Auto Diesel

Just one click a few seconds after the engine is turned off, starts ok and no warning lights on, touch wood. Sounds like it’s in the centre underneath, I can never get out quick enough to stick my head under there and pin point the sound.

Clicking sound Discovery 3 Auto Diesel

After about 4 seconds after you turn the engine off you can hear a loud click from underneath, any ideas what this is. Thanks Chris

    79 3.5V8

Would a 79 two door not have had points to start with.

    79 3.5V8

It has electronic ignition, I have tried to pull the choke out but it makes no difference, i think it’s fuel related.

    79 3.5V8

My 3.5 V8 starts first time from cold every time, but after a run if it’s left for 10 minutes or so you have to keep cranking it over to start all most the point where it’s not going to have it at all. Any ideas. Thanks Chris

    Temperature gauge

I think I will get the sensor that matches the gauge and see how that goes, am I going to have water coming out once I remove the sensor.

    Temperature gauge

It would appear there are 2 threads, corse and fine, I’ll have to take it out and look, hopefully it will be easy to see which it is.

    Temperature gauge

If I have a Discovery 200 tdi in my Defender what temp sender should it have

    Temperature gauge

Done this since I brought it, it will go nearly to the end of the gauge very quickly and just sit there, if your not putting a lot of power on the Engine it will creep back a little
