Hasn't worked since I got my Defender, the bulbs are regular halogen. I guess time to take the voltmeter out and backtrack through the stuff. Unfortunately I don't have a wiring diagram so I don't know exactly what is all the stuff I am looking at.

Yeah it is pretty cold up here :) Good to know that even not at full power it will give plenty heat. It does go to a good -30 degrees here by December so having enough power for that is essential.

Thanks for the info. That must have been quite the trip! I will forgo the extra heater unit then, can always fit it later if needed. Cheers
