    Roundhill Woods, Tring 26/27 Oct

Would it be suitable for a 1969 2A with standard wheels/ tyres? I have recovery points- but very little else. I have never been off road and would like to "potter around" and get a bit of mud on it. The ultimate aim is to prepare it over time to be capable of more extreme challenges, but...

    clutch adjusting

I have adjusted the m/c push rod and the slave cylinder as far as they will go- but the bite point is still on the floor. I have read elsewhere that the clutch lever can wear, but I would not hsve thought that this would make a significant difference?

    clutch adjusting

Sorry to hijack this thread-I have searched and this is the nearest thread to my problem. On my 2a the bite point is right on the floor. It bites nicely and no sign of slipping. I would like to know if there is a way I could adjust the bite point a little higher?(because it wont work when I put...

The thing is that if I do break it, I now know every nut and bolt so I can mend it relatively easily:D

Silly things you've done to your landy

After rebuilding it, forgetting to put a bolt in the steering arm on the bottom of the relay - into an Armco at 50mph. Could be worse- could have been pedestrians or oncoming traffic:(

    Hertfordshire Lanes?????

After buying something that I thought needed a "bit" of work to get on the road in a couple of weeks- I have spent the last 12 months learning to weld, doing a full strip down and rebuild BUT I have finally got an MOT. I am now away for a few weeks on holiday , but will most definitely be up...

Setting height of garage lintel - brickes tomorrow am - help plz

If your neighbour is a pain don't bother with the parapet or the gutter- just let the water fall of the roof onto his garden / drive :D

Setting height of garage lintel - brickes tomorrow am - help plz

Build it the height you want. if they kick off then get retrospective permission- they wouldn't make you pull it down for a few inches.

    Hertfordshire Lanes?????

I have done three track rod ends today with the method you suggest. I did clip a curb the other week and wreck a rim- I think it has buggered the thread on that side- I have spent hours with it in a vice trying to lever it of, soaked it for hours in WD, but it isn't shifting:(

    Hertfordshire Lanes?????

Jai It was only after I had brought the track rod ends and the clamps that I found out how cheap the HD ones were:mad: If Spyderman hasn't got one then I will definitely have one of you. Steve

    Hertfordshire Lanes?????

Spyderman Would you have a steering rod I could buy of you? I have tried changing my track rod ends and cannot get one of them out - it is the side that had the impact so I suspect it has been pushed in/ wrecked the threads. Steve
