    Disco 1 abs brakes

What do you reckon the insurance would say about removing the abs if it was factory fit and you have a crash ? Must be a bit of a grey area if you've removed a safety feature ?

If you want to get back to bare metal the best in my experience is a good air powered d/a sander. Using progressive pads will get it back to the metal without marking it up too bad and then you use theame machine for flatting down the filler etc.

Hi there new to site. 4.2 supercharged help.

The mileage is nothing for one of those but if you don't know about them it's easy to buy a lot of someone else trouble ,you really need somebody who knows them to have a chance of getting one in good order, there's a lot to check and preferably with a fault reader machine so you can see all its...

98 manual trans trouble (Solved: friction disk failure)

I use someone called jgs4x4 in UK but don't know what they would charge to send to you.might be expensive.Has the clutch damaged the face of the flywheel? I'd be surprised if not, when they wear so far it usually scars the face of it and it's either a case of reworking it or fit a new one

New Member - TD6 Fuel Problem - Please Help

Yes that's the easiest one thank goodness and cheaper of the 2,still might be up to£400 if done by a stealer dealer but if you can find an independent who's trustworthy near you I'd go there. While they're at it pays to change the filters on the diesel system as well because there could be dirt...

    Brake Pipe replacement...

Don't think abs matters in the scheme of things ,still use the same pipes and fluid as non abs good idea to take pictures before disassembly to make sure they go back right and maybe put a tag on them in case they get moved about?

New Member - TD6 Fuel Problem - Please Help

The engine fueling issue could be as simple as needing a new feed pump it's probably not outtput enough pressure and so the fuel is relying on its own weight and gravity to feed the engine. As for the heater it's normal for them to smoke when they start,if you let it get thoroughly warmed up and...

Disco 2 Air suspension compressor ok but not sending air

I'm no expert either but there's lots on here about SLS and sure it says you need both bags and the leveling sensors on to get it to go properly

Disco 3 (LR3) Flickering light problem

It doesn't apply to me as mine is a d2 but am interested to see if there's a solution.See what you mean about dual charging being a problem if you don't run very far.Must be a strain for it to keep charged at all .Bet a clever beggar will solve it sooner or later.Just beats me why they didn't...
