    3.9iwont start

Check plugs. Have you got a good spark? If yes could be fuel issue Does the exhaust smell of fuel? If so probably not a fuel issue. Is the amp good? Check spark using a spark plug on end of plug lead against metal on engine. Do you have an alarm/immobiliser on there? Sounds silly but the...

Wanted - RRC 86-92 complete front axle in good condition

My mistake. It does have a diff in it. The rear one doesnt. It was a good axle the only thing that I know of was the swivel seal went on right hand side so I swapped it for a spare axle I had here as not got an end float meter thing to set the hub nut. Other than that it all worked. Caliper...

    V8 engine transplant...maybe!

You'll have to change the engine mounts. Not sure on gearbox mounts. What about fuel tank, pump and pipees? You going for and RV8 or something else? As for LPG I can average 16-18 mpg on gas. 22 on petrol.

Crankshaft and Flywheel Lightening and balance

Not looking to increase capacity at the moment. IF I was going to do that would probably just throw a Jag supercharger lump in as you can pick them up for £3000 for the whole car lol. But thanks for all the inptu. Loads to think about.

Crankshaft and Flywheel Lightening and balance

Going to do most of the work myself so that will bring down most of the costs. Going to replace the valve trains as they are probably worn, same with cam and bearings. I'll do the crank bearings aswell. If pistons are good I'll reuse them if not replace. Done straight replacement a few times...

yep with you on that. Looking at spending weeks doing the heads alone. Oh, and it's an auto so no clutch. But may just be doing the top end at this rate. Looking for a smooth engine not a race engine lol
