Not sure about diesels, but most engines only have one nut/bolt holding the pulley on. If it has a cam belt attached you would need to lock the engine timing, however you do on a diesel. Usually putting pins through the cam pulley into holes in head/block. If it has a timing chain then...

if they are standard bushes you could drill out the rubber and then cut the metal casing with a hacksaw. Then use a small chisel to peel one side. Had to do mine that way. Wouldn't reuse bushes once they are out unless quite new.

had the same problem with my new ally tailgate. I cured it by adjusting the catch rod. The locks had become to tight and the slight extra strain was enough to pop the catch. Test before you close the gate though as a pain to undo if it goes wrong lol.

Have you tried Autogymp Bumper cleaner? they also do the vinyl and bumper care. The bumper cleaner takes some effort but can be pretty good depending on the plastic. They also do show shine. Failing that try spraying a good amount of a decent bumper care solution (autoglym, Turtle, Maguires)...

Have a look for race discs. Doubt if anyone makes them for a classic though. Unless you go for the later vented type discs. Better heat retraction from pads and work better in heavy braking than solids.

Thats a servo system. Not ABS. ABS was standard fitment on all EFi SE models after 1989. So I'd say if you have this model it has been retro fitted by a previous owner.
