Evening all, I'm off to Morocco this summer and need a CB radio which is not a problem, but where to mount it is! Why am I over here rather than the (relative) safety of the RR forum? Well, mine's a soft dash RRC, so same dash as the Disco I and largely II, and I bet more of you have fitted CB...

The one on my RRC needed a fault code reset on the ECU, think it was a dodgy resistor in the circuit somewhere..

I'd agree with that, eBay is pikeyville for cheap cars and the odd rarity. For a general but nice car such as yours, Autotrader or Pistonheads is the only way to go. FWIW, I'd say £4,500 is about right for yours without seeing pics and spec.

I'm loving this :D I loved that episode of Top Gear and whilst I am sure it is partially staged, it did kinda prove a point - it was certainly no worst than the other two Jap cars! Sounds like you've got a keeper there. I'm taking my RRC to Morocco in August, keep getting jibes from the lads...

Not sure about that sound, I am guessing you don't have ABS on that model so wouldn't be ABS pump, which is quite loud...

OK, well I've just purchased a Maggiolina Safari rooftent, and I have a pair of Thule roof bars to fit it with. Question is, will they support the weight of the tent (+ my brother and I @ around 13-14 stone each) oh do I need an additional support bar? Thanks!

Bit of an odd one, but sometimes when I start the RR (3.9 V8 Classic on LPG, always starts on petrol) it won't idle (on petrol or LPG). Even giving it some revs doesn't sort it out, it just basically dies if you let go of the throttle. I have tried driving it for a bit as well, but as soon as...
