I picked one up from Emmotts before Christmas, currently on preparing it for painting the right colour as it came in white but it was absolutely spotless, no signs of any corrosion on it. I would recommend trying them.

As Saint says, the STC2289 and STC4217 may well be the same thing as Island4x4 only shows the STC2289 injector for the full 94-02 date range whereas it shows the sensor one changing in 98.

Well even with the problems the P38 gives me over the time I have had it (and probably many more months to come) I am pleased that there are advantages in choosing it rather than a defender......... I would prefer to get up in a morning and know the car will still be outside the house ...

My DSE does the same as above, if you leave the lights on and turn the ignition off you get a "Headlight Delay" message, a bleep and the lights go off themselves after so many seconds. Had second thoughts on this ..... this is if you then switch off the lights after the ignition ..... not...

As above, your brother is not licenced to tow it. As he passed after 1997, the trailer plus its load has to weigh less than the towing vehicle and the whole lot together (tow vehicle, trailer and load)has to weigh less than 3500kg.

The links worked OK for me. I would advise forgetting the second one (not far from me) as they have a reputation of just sourcing from Auctions, giving them a wash then sticking a couple of thousand on the price without checking them over at all.
