Hi I don't know about the spacing of the bolts I know I tried to fit the spanner earlier but will try again in the morning looking at the finish of spanners I would say they are laser cut so could be a different diameter

Hi in the process of replacing my ace pipes,I now need to remove viscous fan on my disco td5 so out come my flat dog spanners that my daughter brought me last year never been used till now, tries and put the spanner that holds the pulley only to find holes to bolts don't line up not impressed...

Hi I would keep the ACE system I'm in the middle of converting mind with modified block to hydraulic hose been a nightmare as for belt any motor factors should be able to get you one or look at jgs4x4 website just under £15

Thanks that's what I thought car is off the road at moment till this job is done will be replacing fluid as well just thought that when I put car back on wheels not driving would rams leak with no pipe work there or would there be a problem if they weeped till hoses made thanks

Thanks it was just my concern that if I jack up the rear on axle stands to remove the rear pipe work then lower it back down to remove the front pipe work leaving no block or pipe work on vehicle would the rams leak or suspension lower once back on wheels till I get hydraulic hoses made thanks

Thanks I'm already on D2BC ( lynx40) but my iPad refuses to share posts I've looked at ACE thread on there I was just asking if this mod had been done and at what cost ? Your answers have been most helpful just got find somewhere to make up hoses

Thanks for your quick reply just somemore questions where the two pipes join from engine bay I'd like to keep them joined but cut them perhaps 2-3 inches from joint and fit the compression joints there what did you use to cut pipes with? And was those lengths of pipe ok in extra length
