I fitted a new turbo, whistles dead loud (weirdly). Wasn't making boost, on further investigation (Like Sherlock Holmes), after everything I looked at on the tinterweb, turns out, the circlip on the blower end, wasn't seated correctly, thisbthebboost was escaping somewhere. Still whistles, but...

Apologies for asking, I’m sure it’ll be already deep in the archives, and asked a hundred times. Will a discovery 2 transfer box fit on my 300tdi Defender? There’s one close by and at a reasonable price. If it’s too much of a nause, I’ll get a disco1 t box. Thanks.

Update for reference. SWR check was off the scale. Checked earthing and continuity of coax, this was fine. New antenna, now SWR reading of 1.1 channel 1. 1.0 channel 40, I think this is close enough now. Thanks for the help.

Cheers all. Lots of things for me to try. I’ll ensure they’re all done and see if there is any “weirdo’s” out there ( other than myself)
