    P38 Horn or horns?

The horns work but if I sound them for any more than a second or so the fuse blows. Somebody on here said that they must be pulling too much current, which makes sense, thats why I wondered what the resistance across their terminals should be. I've not checked the resistance of the ones...

    P38 Water leak.

Hello again, my visits to the forum seem to be getting rather routine. So, it's been raining here in the West Mids for about 36 hours now. When getting into my car about half an hour ago I noticed that a reciept for parts which I'd left in the passenger footwell had a couple of spots of water on...

P38 Oil Separator Pipe Insert. HELP PLEASE

Thanks for your help people. I think I was having trouble fitting it because there was a little bit of oily crud on the inside of the oil separator tube. I gently removed this by inserting a drill bit just a little bit smaller than the hole, and turned the bit by hand until I reached the bottom...

    P38 Horn or horns?

Please tell me how many horns a 2002 P38 should have and where are they located. I had a look the grill with a small torch but can only see the fans for the radiator. Also, when I do find them please tell me what the measured resistance should be beween the two terminals. Thanks.

    P38 Air Suspension.Update.

No my drive slopes down towards the house. I suppose the front of the car may be as much as 3 or 4 inches higher than the back when I park it up.

    P38 Air Suspension.Update.

Well I’m at a bit of a loss now. I’ve just put the relay back in, the suspension didn’t move and I could drive straight off.

    P38 Air Suspension.Update.

Thanks for all the advice yesterday, I think that we may be getting somewhere. I pulled the delay relay timer when I got home last night and it’s not dropped at all overnight . I’m sure this means something to one of you with a much better understanding or these vehicles than me. Thanks for all...

    P38 Air Suspension.Update.

Thanks, yes it does sound very similar. Did you do follow the method described by Datatec when you changed your air bags or did you depressurize the system prior to starting the work? If I do have to change them I was a little concerned about removing the connection with 10 bar pressure inside...

    P38 Air Suspension.Update.

Should a P38 suspension automatically drop to access mode when parked up? Mine does every night so when I turn it on in the morning I have to wait about 5 secoonds before it adjusts to the correct level and I can drive off. I should add it never drops any lower. If it shouldn't behave like this...
