The simplest thing I have seen which is a benefit is an egr delete with the outlet for a boost gauge pipe.

This is true never thought of that

I'm sure I have some fitting very similar to that of an old diesel pump I'm sure may have been of a range rover that I could possibly do something with.

I think you could be on to a decent idea there that would show any problems and I would no if it was the turbo or after the turbo but would require another gauge.

I think its similar to that this is what I found on another forum on where to tap in to get accurate boost pressure although I can see the theory in tapping into the manifold to get a more accurate reading

What sort of pipe would be required to punch into the fitting my pipe is flexible to it wouldn't stay in that.

I will have to have a look at that this pipe I have found runs into the intercooler which I thought might give me the correct boost i found this on a forum afew days ago into which pipe to tee into.

I will have to look around it when I get more time the other thing is I want the pipe to come through preferably somewhere I can get at it rather than it come up behind the instrument cluster.

Is there somewhere I can do this or does it require a lot of work thanks for the reply.

Sorry I havent measured it but at a guess I would say it's about that size would u recommend drilling a hole and use a grommet then thanks for the reply.

Hi everyone I have just workout the small boost pipe I need to connect near the turbo can anyone suggest a suitable bung to run the boost gauge pipe though the firewall on a discovery 2 td5 thanks any help is very much appreciated.

Mines the same just done a trip upto yorkshire from stafford done nearly 500 miles and they only thing that went wrong is a slight knocking on the rear propshaft hopefully an easy fix but it's never straight forward.

Someone should set these up arrange for them to pick up a car that isn't even there for repair and intimidate them it's wrong that they can take our pride and Joy's I'm not to far from hopefully they get to take a trip to prison soon I wouldn't want to have a vehicle back from them they may just...

Hi guys/gals I have noticed that my discovery has had to patches welded on the rear chassis not the best job by the person who owned before me I have noticed a lot or rust on the rear half it is only really surface rust I have had the hammer round it is there any decent rust converters to use to...
