    Problems with Richard's Chassis

These chassis are fabricated in a jig, of some sorts, so this says as much about QC as anything. It would be beyond credible to have a LR chassis distort with hot dip, given the overall fabrication of that unit.

    Problems with Richard's Chassis

You could also try Shielder Chassis's; they're new to the market and was very impressed with the quality of them at the LRO show this year.

    Problems with Richard's Chassis

The Richards website says they have a "laser cutter"... Any chance someone could visit the factory and show them how to switch it on and whilst they're there, knock up a jig or two because clearly they dont have any of those....

    Problems with Richard's Chassis

Sorry, but I find all of this a tad strange! Ok, you say Richard's didn't turn up when they said they would, but surely you can't have left it like that? I find it incredible that at this stage you're on a forum looking for a solution to a problem that is not your own. You've paid Richards...

Hippo, thought you were better than this; turns out, you're another pouncy left-wing liberal who can't see a bit of fun being had without involving Inspector Knacker of The Yard. Peeps need to grow up and reflect back when you fire off a banger on a doorstep or fire a rocket up the street...

    Attempted Theft

Without a thorough check of the vehicle, including fluid levels, hard to say what's going on here. That said, I'm with McMafia/GRU involvement, but it's a hunch.

6-Wheel Drive Discovery II - Am I totally mad ?

Great to hear things are still moving forward - literally! As a hybrid vehicle, it'll be interesting to hear how all of that comes together in the final 'mix'. Keep posting!!

6-Wheel Drive Discovery II - Am I totally mad ?

Hope not! On the positive side of this pic is the fact that it was recovered from somewhere;), so it's got out of the driveway, so to speak... Or @Bobsticle is on the money and the fec kin thing has been scrapped:eek: Insane project that must be a serious 'bleed' on cash, but clearly a...

    Attempted Theft

Please!:) No baseball or cricket bats, save that for hitting the leather ball! I came very close to getting charged with assault after "taking out" a chappie who I found sitting in the driver's seat of my Landy. It's not worth it - maybe!

My 90 rebuild, what have I started ....

Excellent! Having set up a website, the pressure will be on to deliver; but maybe that was part of your cunning plan to get the thing completed! Best wishes.

Reversing cameras (I know, but they're changing all the time)

To that, add just about any other part or system you can think of in a Landy ;) In my experience, whether it's made by the Itchyfanny Corporation of Guangdong Province, China or by Smug****e Systems of Basildon, quality always tends to take a back seat in this throwaway culture today.

I'm with Mick on this one:D or, as has been suggested, a reversing beeper.
