    Bulkhead Removal, Repair and Re-fitting

Hi, checking if anyone can recommend a thread or video that covers the above work? I've come across threads, of course, that cover elements of the work, but looking for an end to end guide, etc. Thanks.

6-Wheel Drive Discovery II - Am I totally mad ?

This project is not just about baking a 6-wheel Disco, it's very much a "drains-up", re-engined, electric hybrid vehicle that has at its heart, a modified Disco chassis. Add to that, a host of one-off custom controllers, a digital dash and the rather onerous task of bringing it all together as...

Mackers' Def 90 - Who needs Cloud Storage when you can have your own thread?

LOL. With my most recent purchase in July of a D90, I thought I had covered all the bases; except I hadn't and that has resulted in more work, which is code for more hard-earned cash heading down the Swanee. But, hey-ho, it's my hobby and I just simply love driving it at every opportunity and...

Mackers' Def 90 - Who needs Cloud Storage when you can have your own thread?

The pictures look great and, of course, these things are a perpetual "work in progress"; rest assured, you'll get great support, ideas, technical knowledge and outright abuse on this forum, so embrace it! Health to enjoy your new purchase!

What does it take to rip someone off?

This is life, as we know it, Captain, and it's full of feckin Klingons. Stick to what you know, your gut-feelings, LR model research, HPI checks, MoT history via DVLA, bring a mate with a pair of overalls and torch, a screwdriver to further erode the bulkhead and a big pair of swinging balls...

What does it take to rip someone off?

For every shyster like the guy you've described, there's ten decent folk out there, like yourself; as my (now rather old) Irish mother would say, "he'll have no luck"!

What does it take to rip someone off?

Who knows why this guy screwed you with the Landy; maybe he had mounting debts, facing eviction along with his fat wife and six kids. But he spotted you and clearly thought he had landed gold; reneged on the original deal and pushed the price back up again, because he could. Genuinely sorry to...

    Problems with Richard's Chassis

Probably one of those subjects one could debate all night about! Many so-called fabricators make no allowance for internal stresses during, for example, welding. Excessive welding, different metal thicknesses, etc, all contribute to internal stressing and potential distortion when the thermal...

    Problems with Richard's Chassis

LOL. Welcome to my world:( I would have expected a set of QC checks with the welded-up chassis still in the jig or frame and those checks would have covered alignment and a host of other measured checks.

    Problems with Richard's Chassis

The OP raised a valid question and I'm glad he did as it started a very useful and wider debate around chassis fabricators.
