    whilst working on my p38 today i noticed it has a black plate on the slam panel stating land rover special vehicles, its stamped with a number and date, is this the norm and if not what does it mean?

    well today i got stuck in,,, i started the car up and waited till the short bursts of air started and the began looking for the leak, i found the air was comming from the top of the air bag around where the rubber fits onto the metal top hat. so i jacked up the car and let the suspension...

    thanks for the reply ian, i have tried jacking up the car to see if this is the case but still it gets a hissing sound, it really does sound like the eas trying to fill the air spring, and i have now noticed that when i push down on the front the hissing is prolonged as if the air is comming...
