I dont think he is far wrong, Kent 4x4 breakers have some but they are closed until the 9th. I might get the valve off and see if it comes apart, bits of rust come out of it when i flushed it, might be lucky and find its just jammed shut.

Possibly the passenger side, i took the drivers headlight out and couldnt see any wires or a plug.

I will give that a try and im sure it will become a permanent feature of the car, looks like the catches have been drowned in oil in the past, thats probably not helping. Thanks for the help.

Hi all I have just noticed my heated mirrors are hot all the time. I always thought they were switched on by the rear screen switch, it seems mine are on soon as the ignition is on. is this the same on anyone else's or have i got a fault somewhere, its a 2006 td4 sport Cheers.

Water in the box in the boot is nearly always from the rear door. Above the door on the outside is a plastic trim that goes right across the back. Prize off the two side trims as these hold the top trim in place, unclip the top trim and if the screws are not to rotten to remove, take them out...

I had same thing on a 2001 auto td4. Exciter ring on one of the front cv joints had a crack, giving a false abs reading, cheaper and easier to change the cv joint if it is the problem.

The book says drive it to warm the oil up. All seems well and like i said, seems to work better now.

Just had new injectors fitted, talking to the guys at Kent injections who done my work, They said the td4 dose not need glow plugs because its direct injection. They are fitted for extreme weather conditions that we dont get in the uk.

Just done both drive shafts and lost 1.5 litres out the n/s drive shaft hole, put the 1.5 litres back in and took it for a run. Warmed the box as the manual says and Hippo's first class write up, took the level plug out and collected Half a litre of oil. Think the half a litre to much theory...
