P38A EAS keeps farting at me!

Hi, sorry to be a pain, but how can I check for this?

P38A EAS keeps farting at me!

This would be one of the four valves on top of the valve block or is there another valve I need to check? How would you recommend I check for this fault?

    What modification to

The L322 is better off road. However, It is a lot more expensive to fix so although i started green laning in my L322 I was damaging it too much so I bought a p38 for the lanes and keep my nice beautiful L322 for the roads. But it is bloody good off road. Much higher ground clearance than the p38.

    What modification to

I think we are agreeing with each other. I think the p38 is great off-road. However, as you say, it will ground the diff’ in deep ruts. It has the lowest ground clearance of any of the Landy’s - so 90’s, 110’s and Disco’s will happily trot through a deep rutted lane that a stock p38 will ground...

    What modification to

The p38 is great off road as it is. BUT! If you go green laning it will get scratched and dented. It will also bottom out, the diff’ will sit on every ridge between ruts and you will spend your life being towed out. So, if try and keep it immaculate and stock looking you will always be avoiding...

P38A EAS keeps farting at me!

Well, the symptoms i described were the predecessor to a eas failure. Now down on the bump stops, pump runs and generates pressure but you can hear the pressurised air escaping loudly and the pressure is not getting to the air bags.

air bags are new. Sounds like the valves letting air out. But ride height not changed, so there must also be some pressure being added.

P38A EAS keeps farting at me!

Has any one experienced their EAS system letting out air in short farty bursts, a bit like the sound of air brakes, when driving normally?

Are you just rubbing it in?

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Bloody inconsiderate RR drivers. You will not believe what I saw yesterday! There was a man driving a smart looking P38, 2.5D in green, the same as mine, through Weymouth without a care in the world. The ride height looked good, he was confident enough to have brought his wife with him rather...

Wind noise from 2023 Range rover

That screen in the middle looks as stupid as the sticky out rear entertainment screens on the L405 which is one of the reasons I still have my L322. The other being that no one has driven down the m4 in it at night eating sardines and then leaving it in an airport car park in high summer for a...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Not as much as I do. Once opened a hose fitting on a turned off Quooker which I then discovered allowed a reduction in pressure causing pressurised water at 110 deg to boil and the resulting steam and boiling water to empty themselves all over my ankle. 3rd degree burns. I was sitting cross...

I love this forum. nearly every issue I encounter has been encountered before and the good burghers of LZ provided advice and solutions. However, I promise that with all the defects, both from the history and occasionally me that plague her - if there is a new issue to discover then like the...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Bloody Good day today - fixed the underlying EAS problem! Have been struggling with EAS - christmas tree on the height switch, EAS error on the dash, car on its bumps. I had three EAS modules lying around - left in a cardboard box in the boot when it came back from the garage. So I labelled...
