    Todays mission was to make a start on the upper side panels, glass out it was hammer time! Then a little filler, sanding, heavy build primer, more sanding, more primer, and more sanding, well that’s one down one to go, glad it’s a 90 and not a 110!

    So pleased that Landyzone have fixed the issue of adding photos, it was quite difficult to keep the momentum going without posting progress. That’s it back into sixth gear now !

    Door skins bonded and folded, a quick one over with 320DA to key and take and press marks out of the ali then a coat of etch primer (2k max meyor CFE 050)

    Next front doors, frames blasted and repaired.

    All the steel cappings and rear corners were blasted and galvanized. Twashed the galv parts prior to fitting. Rear tub etched with 2pk then primed in 2k ready for paint

    Rear tub time, new rear panels fitted and rear quarters reinforced from the inside with some hand made 3mm ali

    All the suspension parts blasted painted and new bushes fitted

    Brake calipers blasted, painted with HT enamel, although Mrs Hughes wasn’t impressed to find them hanging up in the airing cupboard ! new pistons and seals fitted with some home made stainless steel upper and lower mud guard brackets

    axles stripped blasted and painted, new seals, bearings, bolts, discs, swivel kits, gater kits

    Bulkhead sand blasted, repaired in the usual places pillars, foot wells and around unused wiper arm hole. Braced up with some unistrut and sent to the galvanisers. Returned from galv, cleaned up holes re tapped. Next job etch, and prime

    Engine cleaned, painted, new oil stem seals, new , refurbished fuel pump and injectors, new water pump, cam belt kit, new lift pump and inj pipes
