    Freelander 1 transmission noise

    Hi guys I have just purchased a 1999 freelancer xdi and when driving there is a grinding noise, a bit like when the sound you get if you have let your breaks get down to metal on metal. This is only when moving and it hates driving at low revs and vibrates, not sure where to start any ideas...
