Yes I think so press the button up and nothing press it down and the window will go up. Then nothing it won't come down again.. took it all out again checked it all and the same thing again.

Yes like you said it will only go in one way. It's drove us mad today in and out and the same problem every time.

Replaced the pulley wire cause it snapped now it will go up when you press the button in the down position but won't go up. My husband has had it in and out several times and still the same problem..

The pulley wire was broken so replaced it put it all back together twice and now when the window button is pressed down the window goes up and won't come down. Obviously checked the motor was in down position before putting it all back together.. any advice would be great husband been at it all...
