If you accelerate slow it's seems not too bad , it's just when you put your foot down that there's hardly any power and holding back ,There's also a slight misfire when climbing hills

Fresh fuel while it had previously broke down so 2 weeks ago , recent fuel filter ,purflex .it's like driving my old L series . I've also noticed fumes rising from the back of the engine

Today I bought a priming bulb instead of using the 12v pump as it pumps fuel too quick to notice anything going on , so on connecting it up to the filter and drawing the fuel out I noticed that there were a hell of a lot of air bubbles coming through and not clearing at all ,next I connected it...

Filter is Mann , I run a diagnosis on it today and still no codes at present , another thing I noticed today was when it was cranking over the temperature gauge was at its highest and the red warning light on

On inspection it hadn't run out of fuel if the tank transfer pump wasn't working as there was still fuel in the fuel pipe that leads upto the pump, but I did connect a 12v pump to make sure that fuel was flowing from the tank through the filter, I even bled the injector pipes and fuel was...

It showing just under 1/2 tank

Time has been a issue but I put a couple of containers of diesel in the tank and tried starting it , still no go .

Well that's another thing guage is showing about a 1/4 but when you turn it over the fuel light comes on and the needle drops so I'm also going to add a couple of cans of diesel just in case

The recovery driver run a diagnosis for it to come up as nothing at all

Hi all , had a problem a few weeks back and the Freelander 2 wouldn't start , thought it might be the fuel filter so changed it and did a Jump start and it started , 2weeks after while it was on tickover it stopped and wouldn't start again , recovery came jump started it and it fired up straight...

Hi guys, looks like the timing belt has gone ony L series, pump belt cover off and part opened timing belt cover, turn over and nothing is turning only the auxiliary belt. How much would it be to replace the head and belts, just want to see if it's worth fixing

This was showing signs that the contacts were worn ,just clicking or if you held the ignition on after about 30 secs it would turn over, but now I've changed the contacts it engages but doesn't spin, this is the second time I changed the contacts
