Yeah cheers for that lads, I don't fancy lifting that gear box and transfer out again twice in a week is enough, I have done the transfer seal to while it was out

Well Down to it the clutch plate from borgen beck has flywheel printed and gear box side printed on the same side so yes the friction plate was in the wrong way so hopefully will be working later

Just put a new clutch in my td5 disco changed the slave cylinder to now it will go into gear no problem when the engines not running won't go into gear when engines running. Tryed back bleeding it to no joy starting to really p*** me off, any ideas people ??????

That's the one need to replace and see if it fixes it

I have noticed today I doubled checked the fuel pump in tank and found one of the high pressure pipes has been cut and replaced with rubber running under the floor

Dosnt make a difference purging the system starts abit better but it still holds back on reving if you go to drive off it's like the power isn't there then boom it's the alway about 30 seconds after starting dosnt matter if it's from cold or warm start just get the real low idle from cold start...

All heater plugs and relay working fine as should so what's next lads and lasses ?

Just answered my own question ha only 4 heater plugs the old L series used to be like that 4 cylinders with 3 heaters

Never thought about that, are you referring to the glow plugs them selfs or the glow plug relay ?

Hi all got round to doing the injector seals nice easy job to about a hour, let it prime for about 10 min fired first click of th key but left it over night and now am back to the original problem not as bad but still **** on starting where to go next
