Not being silly but you have checked that the transfer box is engaged? sorry to state the blindingly obvious but its worht a check, the clutch is an easy swap i have done 3 or 4 and never had any major issues just remember its a heavy box and youll be fine oh and make sure its all lined up...

How hard was the rebild job? I think maybe thats the way ill go, can the end float be checked in situ or is it a box out job anyways? I think an ashcroft box is well above my means :(

Rigth i now have new gearbox issues, my second gear has started jumping out while engine breaking down hill, it jumped out about 6 or 7 times on one shoot this weekend that was only about 100m long wihch was a bit worrying. Does anyone know what this could be? It basically wont stay in 2nd...
