1965 Series 2a Station Wagon in Holland

Impact driver (human powered, not air or leccy) and a selection of bits will be a good investment. Plus there's a good bit of weight to them so they are good for throwing at people who slag off Landys.

Land Rovers take more than their fair share too :D

Do you enjoy being dominated by Americans? o_O Any road up, I am very much looking forward to your rebuild! :D

    Finally got another Land Rover!

Yeah, but I didn't have time to wait so I filed the high spots off. Next time around I'll replace them.

    Finally got another Land Rover!

Yeah, it isn't finished yet, it looks very odd from the front as there is so little depth to it.

    Finally got another Land Rover!

I found some pictures from July 2014 when I was doing MOT work and about to move house.... Usual inner wing rot: Bit of weldy weldy and some paint: Having to tidy up after cowboys  In both cases the burs were filed down: (hammer damage above wheel stud)

Yes I prefer them without the longitudinal bars too but I also find I need a roof rack.

    Finally got another Land Rover!

Right, a bit later than previously advertised: How it is just now: It used to have a light bar on it, which looked alright, but not great: I will make something else at some point.

    Finally got another Land Rover!

That looks very good indeed. The great thing about them is you can fix them at home, as you have found out.

    Finally got another Land Rover!

Actually I've just realised that pic is of the original bumper with the plastics removed! I do have more pics, will add them later when I get home.

    Finally got another Land Rover!

I made the bumper my self using a winch tray from another bumper, some box section and chequer plate. My intention is to add a portion to the bottom of it once I have made the steering guard so I can do it such a way that they work together.

Those small numbers are likely ghost or residual voltage, particularly as it changes polarity. Being that the supply from the battery to the terminal is a constant, that being it is not switched, it would be possible to determine it's state without running the engine. Try measuring voltage...

    Finally got another Land Rover!

Thank you for the interest! I should have a disclaimer that says if you set your Landy on fire don't come crying to me :p:D It is possible that there is a supply via a different route. Measuring voltage across the relay pin connection and battery positive would tell you this. EDIT: Sorry, that...

    Immobiliser problem?

Could be any number of things, not necessarily caused by the immobiliser. See if it's getting spark and fuel and work back from there.

    Finally got another Land Rover!

Ok so, in my last update I had said the next component to test would be the Glow Plug Relay, clearly this was wrong and no one picked up on it or if they did they kept quiet. The next thing to test would be the wire connecting the glow plugs together, since it is disconnected from the glow plugs...

Freelander 1 Throttle delay - low power from stop

Oh you could be right, he did mention turbo at some point!

Freelander 1 Throttle delay - low power from stop

It sounds like you have had a bad experience with OBD and been stung, going by the stories I see and hear, you are not alone. Don't let it put you off though, if you hit your hand does it mean you never use a hammer again? Learning to use a scan tool as a source of information as you work and...

Freelander 1 Throttle delay - low power from stop

Using a scan tool to view live data would certainly be a massive help. You don't need to have the EML on to do this, it will still access the ECU for the data. Looking at O2 sensor 1 will tell you if you have a rich or lean condition and thereby give you some direction on what you are looking...
