To anyone about change their water pump on their disc 300 TDI(which I've just done ) . LOOSEN ALL FLY WHEEL BOLTS BEFORE TAKING BELT OFF , if you don't then you can't get one of the bottom bolts out on the water pump because bottom fly wheel is in the way . An hours job took me all day because...

Do a search...its one little blob of solder that needs renewing ....same thing happened to me !.. You've got to take glove box out as unit is behind it.... Whole job took an hour..start to finish .rear windows work just fine now . If you need more detailed advice .....mail me...

Oil change ..then you know exactly when it was last changed ( then every 6k )

There's a green lane just oppersite stump cross caverns worth a try its about 2.5 miles long . Drive past stump cross cavans on your right ....round the corner, there's a lay-a-by(ish) on left . Just after that there's a metal gate that opens in the middle .....that's the green lane .

Hmmmmm....what are the lights in bumper next to indicators... are they rear lights then ( am I being thick ) thought they were the fog lights .... doh!
