Sat nav is classified as a guidance system and for that reason don't gall under that law ( I asked the same question ) stupid really ...same sucker could hold two different things ...however one would be legal and one not.....madness!

Anyone with a dash cam might like to know its AGAINST thelaw to use them on a "sucker" holder on your windscreen!!!!!.....they ddon't tell you that on Flea-bay .

I couldn't get my bottom one off , ended cutting end off ......used some gasket sealant when refitting. Been fine since ( 6 mths)

Sorry for not replying sooner * old age you know * ...however the make of lights are " ring" . As I said before only £8.50 new and fit in hole nicely ......hope this was useful . :)

Bought some at 4x4 auto jumble in Skipton the other week , £8.50 new ! They fit in the hole nicely and work well . can't remember what make , and as its 5am @ the moment not going outside to look , however will let you know .

I had a t55 before , however it was a long one (10cm) so couldn't get in due to prop shaft.. Had to buy a smaller one .

Huzzar!!!!!.....problem resolved...bought t55 from halfords £7.99 ...wd40 ( a good spray) ....tried the 100 light tap method X2 , no joy...more Wd40...no joy......tried hammering it ( slightly harder taps )...no joy .....in the end I got an old broom handle(!) Chopped 18inchs off it ...popped...

Haven't tried yet..... Away from home at moment....however will give all methods a try and let you know . PS : 4x4 Jack was right Kwik fit were right nuggets ....I quote" oil plug are not our thing "( kwik-fit Newtown-acliffe).

Morning peeps, I'm trying to change the gear box oil on my disc 1 .I've gone with the golden rule " make sure the the refill plug comes out before you empty it !". ( good job I did). The refill plug is a star shaped one and looks like the last person to change the oil has " rounded"the star...

Use it once a month to keep it working .

* puts on hard hat and body armour* My disco 300 TDI blows the fuse every time I turn my rear fog lights on !!!!! I've got a few days off so intend to sort it out . Could anyone give me a few pointers on were to start. ANY advice would be VERY welcome . Thanks in advance .

26 mpg...300 TDI ....mostly around town .

Update: my landy doesn't have a egr valve fitted( been removed) hence no where for the blue collar pipe to fit on to HOWEVER have found out the pipe should be blocked off if not in use( mine wasn't!).Big thanks to everyone who helped.
