Have you tried re calibrating it

If you try and stop it on the way up it will/should go straight back down

You can stop it anywhere on the the way down by releasing the switch. But not on the way up

Can you hear the fuel pump (n/s/r wheel arch) when you turn the ignition on

Can you hear the fuel pump in the 0/s/r wheel arch when you turn the ignition on

At the time it was £100 dearer than a bell recon Looks like it was worth it

From my understanding there are no bearings inside just plates and fluid, could be wrong though

Not good. Just for a comparison i bought a brand new GKN 6 years ago 60k still fine

Have you checked if you have power going to the fuel pump
