everything seems to be a common td4 problem. i sometimes wish i kept my L series. only things that needed was a fuel filter and leak off pipes, oh and a new jubilee clip on the intercooler pipe (hard times :rolleyes:) as soon as its built up ill post a vid here.

it is next on my list of things to buy. im also going to have it carbon cleaned again. before it all goes back together ill be jet washing the manifold (again, was done just before the egr was taken off and theres still **** in there) and ill get some switch cleaner and clean up the plug on the...

Also just been out looking at it (convincing my self not to scrap it) and pulled off the connector for the fuel pressure sensor, as it came off a little puff of rusty stuff came out, so ill clean it up before the manifold goes back on. pins in the sensor look ok though, actually the sensor looks...

thanks nodge, just spoke to the company thats testing them and they said all 4 injectors are absolutely fine with no problems what so ever. which is good but i was hoping there was going to be a faulty one. oh well on to the next step i suppose. i will order a new pressure sensor loom and see...

i believe @Nodge68 is the man to ask regarding the v6

i suppose its possible, they were bought from euro car parts, maybe someone else has had similar, id have thought they all be the same though?

Pulled all the injectors out this morning nowhen waiting for them to be collected for testing. 1 injector is different to to the other 3 for some reason. Old receipts show they were replaced as a set. Also the ends of all 4 were absolutely black. Cleaned most of it off.

nope not replaced the loom yet, unfortunately, tbh i dont know a great deal about the problem it causes so will do some reading on it tonight. ill get the injectors tested tomorrow either way just for piece of mind after having to faulty ones, also the warranty on them is up next month so will...

took it to the diesel specialists today, this plugged in their fancy bosch kit and found a load of fault codes, cleared them, took it for a drive and no difference although they said theres definitely something wrong. so all 4 injectors are coming out in the morning and theyre collecting them to...

I had one a year ago. Wouldn't run my impact gun or cut off tool at 9cfm. Sold it and bought a battery impact gun and a reciprocating saw. Cost me a few quid but wouldn't go back to air.
