    How to increase start speed

#1 and #2 not much. Intake about 120 pound, egr remove about 25 . Both DIY jobs. Serious money comes when you change IC and rest of stuff. Remap is about 230-250. Complete list above is about 1500-1700 quid - depend on part quality and work hours.

    L series mods

Costs are not so high. 250 pound for L-series Garret with full job on it. About cooling I mean engine oil . It likes to climb over 120 deg, cos oil to water cooler is not the best way to cool it . Putting a small oil to air radiator on front is a good idea (mainly for turbocharger)

    L series mods

One more thing ;) . You can tune turbocharger by swapping compressor wheel to lighter, forged one (about 5-6% better results). Those also are lighter about 20% from stock, so it spin up much faster = less turbo lag. Also better balancing it give you a noticeable result. I suggest changing...

Do a bypass in an engine compartment, cut off heater matrix as we have summer just ahead ;) I'm not a fan of putting any sealants in to a cooling system, cos they may 'seal' too much stuff...

    Whooops, I do it again...

Well, that design is for sure not an exact fit ;) Top mounts are too long, and place IC too much forward (bumper don't fit). Right support miss chassis leg , and there is an collision with alloy bumper

    Whooops, I do it again...

Well, Allisport says that their IC is compatible with all Td4's freelanders... It isn't . For pre facelift all mounts need to be cutted out, shorted and re welded. Then it will fit after small bumper cutting from inside. Next bad news is that H&R springs for this model are too short... got a...
